TEE International, which provides mechanical and electrical engineering services, on Monday said it formed a strategic alliance with Advancer Global, which provides security services, pest control, and cleaning and stewarding services to its customers.
The alliance brings together TEE Group's integrated engineering services and its exposure to the real estate and infrastructure sectors, with Advancer Global's integrated facilities management solutions and services platform, it said in a statement.
The alliance will focus on exploring opportunities for joint tenders in contracts which require mechanical and electrical engineering works and facility management services.
The partnership aims to create synergies by tapping on and leveraging off each other's expertise, experience, track record, and manpower and technical resources and competencies.
It would also focus on jointly investing in facilities management projects in the Asia Pacific region with each partner providing value-added services to the projects.
"This alliance will also bolster our confidence in pursuing new projects in the domestic market as well as to expand beyond the shores of Singapore," CEO of Advancer Global, Gary Chin said.
The strategic partnership with Advancer Global help TEE Internattional broaden its horizon and expand into the facilities management business, TEE International's Deputy Group Managing Director Eric Phua said in a statement.
Last month, TEE International's proposed scheme of arrangement involving a buyout offer by its Chief Executive Officer Phua Chian Kin at 21.5 Singapore cents a share was not approved by the requisite majority.
Advancer Global last traded at S$0.29, and TEE International at S$0.205.
