Samsung Electronics Co continues its Android 7.0 Nougat rollout spree to Galaxy J7 (2016) devices. The update is now live in several countries in South America.
More Galaxy J7 (2016) models are getting the Android 7.0 Nougat update, particularly in countries like Brazil, Venezuela, Argentina, Chile, Uruguay and Bolivia. The variants being updated at the moment have the model number SM-J710MN. The new firmware version is J710MNUBU3BQH5.

Along with South America, the Nougat update for Galaxy J7 (2016) are also arriving in West Indies, including Grenada, Trinidad and Tobago, Saint Lucia and Antigua and Barbuda. In the previous weeks, Nougat was first released to Galaxy J7 (2016) variants in Russia followed by India.
Android 7.0 Nougat offers a couple of new features and tweaks that Galaxy J5 owners will enjoy, including the enhanced notifications, additional emojis, better app permissions and tonnes of bug fixes.
In the meantime, Google's latest Android distribution data reveals only 15.8 per cent of all devices running the operating system have been updated to Nougat, while Marshmallow comprises a huge chunk of the share at 32.2 per cent followed by Lollipop at 28.8 per cent and KitKat at 15.1 per cent.
