Han So-hee was found guilty of smoking Marijuana by the Seoul Central District Court and was awarded a four years of probation with a three-year prison sentence if she commits a repeat offence during that period. In addition to that, the court also ordered her to undergo 120 hours of drug treatment as well as pay a fine of 870,000 won (US$770) for marijuana use. "I think I have too much unnecessary curiosity," she said during the Instagram live session, about smoking weed.
As to the effect of her conviction on her career, Han So-hee said, "I decided to debut because I'll get cursed at even if I stay still, so I wanted to try starting. Given that situation, thank you for liking me." She said she wasn't sure about what her debut group's concept would be but revealed it wouldn't be an innocent one. How could I do an innocent [concept], it doesn't match my personality. I know it would fail," she said.
Han So-hee quite confidently said, "I'm an attention-seeker. I like receiving attention." She also claimed to be a feminist and said, My company already knows very well that I'm a feminist. They told me to do as I please and that they won't interfere."
Also, as noted by Allkpop, Han So-hee made sexually harassing comments about T.O.P. by comparing his nether regions with a MAC lipstick. She said, as quoted by Allkpop, "His 'down there' is the size of a MAC." She also called herself a "walking atomic bomb" and said she knew things that could expose other people. As noted by Soompi, in an interview with K STAR in August this year, following her conviction, Han So-hee had said, "I have admitted the crime I committed and I am deeply reflecting."
Also, she wrote on her Instagram on September 25, "I didn't know so many people would be interested. I feel pleased and I can't really explain the feeling, but I think it's making me feel more responsibility. I will work hard so that more females can step forward in the world confidently. Thank you once again."
