Beyonce posts remixed version of 'Mi Gente' to help victims of earthquakes and hurricanes

Beyonce took a step forward to help victims from Mexico, Puerto Rico and Carabian and posted a new single.

Beyonce released a new version of "Mi Gente" to provide support for those who are affected by the hurricanes in the Caribbean and earthquakes in Mexico. The song is in Spanish, English and French languages.

"Mi Gente," which means "my people" in Spanish, is actually a hit song by J Balvin and Willy William. The American singer published the remixed version on Instagram on September 28, Thursday.

"I am donating my proceeds from this song to hurricane relief charities for Puerto Rico, Mexico and the other affected Caribbean islands," Beyonce wrote on the social media platform.

The 36-year-old said on her website that whatever profits this new single will earn will be donated to the victims of natural calamities from Mexico, Puerto Rico and the Caribbean. This is not the first time that the pop singer took a step forward to help people after facing a devastating situation. She previously donated to the people of Southeast Texas, who were devastated by Hurricane Harvey.

"We're heartbroken by the hurricanes and earthquakes that have devastated families around the world," The Texas-born pop queen wrote on her site.

"There are many ways to help. We've listed a few organizations that are on the ground from Mexico to the Caribbean, lending a hand to those who need it most," she further added.
