Arsenal are looking to sell Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil in the January transfer window rather than letting them run down their contract and leave the club for free next summer.
The Chile international looked set to join Manchester City in the summer but the deal fell through late on. Arsenal will consider a January swap deal with PSG, involving Sanchez and Julian Draxler, with the Gunners having been keen on the German international before he moved to Paris.

PSG remain keen on Sanchez despite their summer spending spree. And one way to get around FFP rules may be to include Draxler as part of the deal, reports the Daily Star.
The club could be ready to cash in on Mesut Ozil in January - rather than lose him for free next summer, according to the Mirror.
Italian giants Inter Milan have shown a strong interest in Ozil and that may tempt the club to cash in with no sign of the German superstar signing a new deal at the Emirates. And while talks are ongoing, they are still no closer to a resolution with Ozil demanding around £350,000-a-week. The London club have offered in excess of £275,000-a-week which is new territory for the club but they have not come close to an agreement.
The rumours have gathered pace especially after reports emerged that the rest of the squad was furious with the pair missing a club media day in September, according to the Sun.
The current situation with Ozil, 28, who is not on the team because of a slight knee problem, has only highlighted the fact that Arsenal can cope without him.
Manager Arsene Wenger has said that Ozil will be back after the international break but he is no longer guaranteed a place in the starting line-up. And while Alexis Sanchez has performed well in some games despite his contract stand-off, there have been questions over Ozil.
Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio has admitted he fears Arsenal will not sell in January - but the Italians could move for him given any encouragement.
Ozil's advisers even used Manchester United as an example of English clubs paying big money in his last round of negotiations and he might be willing to stay in the Premier League. But while Ozil might fancy staying in England, there has been no concrete interest or offers and his options would appear to be limited for the value the of contract he wants.
