Metropolitan Police confirm man arrested after crash near London's Natural History Museum

A man has been "detained" following a car being involved in a collision in London, reports the BBC.

The incident took place near the Natural History Museum in the city of British capital. The Metropolitan Police confirmed people have picked up "injuries" after the incident in in Exhibition Road, South Kensington.

The Metropolitan Police has decided against providing more information on the incident that took place on 7 October and has urged the local public to call the police if they have any information regarding the incident.

"Police were called at 1421 on Saturday, 7 October to reports of a collision in Exhibition Road, South Kensington. It is believed that a number of pedestrians have been injured.

Officers are on scene, and the London Ambulance Service have been called. A man (no further dets) has been detained at the scene. Enquiries to establish the circumstances and motive are underway. If you have any information about this incident, please call 101.
