Later, Song Joong Ki wrote for his fan café that "in the beginning of 2017, we promised to spend the rest of our lives together."
The Song Song couple's wedding will be a simple one
The marriage ceremony of the Descendants of the Sun couple will be quite simple, unlike as expected. Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo will be tying the knot at South Korea's Shilla Hotel on October 31. The marriage will take place on the first floor of the luxurious Yeong Bin Gwan banquet hall at 4 p.m. (KST).
However, the surprise doesn't end here. The wedding card also includes a sweet and sentimental message for the couple's invited guests in both Korean and English.
The message reads: "Finally found the right person we have been waiting for a long time. Please come and share with us on this joyful day your wisdom and courage that you've learned along the journey of your life. Your enlightenment will guide us to walk through our own adventure."

Singer Lee Jung Hyun of The Battleship Island has revealed that when she offered Song Joong Ki to sing at his wedding, the actor has politely declined her offer. The 32-year-old Descendants of the Sun actor had said that Ok Joo Hyun will sing at the wedding.
The couple has been quite close to Ok Joo Hyun and Song Hye Kyo has been friends with her for a long time. Song Joong Ki was also seen attending Ok's musicals several time.
The Song Song couple might visit Europe for honeymoon

Once the celebrity couple is back from their honeymoon, they will be reportedly staying at a home in the neighborhood of Itaewon, Seoul. In January 2017, the Song Joong Ki bought the house for 10 billion won ($8.9 million).
