American reality television star Kim Kardashian reportedly wants North West to have a normal childhood. The reality star is apparently encouraging her four-year-old daughter to go on dates.
A source told OK!: "This isn't about 'real' dates, of course - not even Kim would be that extreme! It's about integrating her with more boys as well as girls, which she feels is lacking in her life right now."
"North's a real girlie girl and she's painfully shy around boys, so Kim's taking a tough love approach on this," the insider added.
"[Kardashian's] way more involved with the kids in general at the moment and ironing out North's social issues is top of her priority list. She wants her daughter to be well-socialized among boys and girls, and grow up to be a strong, independent woman who will stand up to a man if need be - like she does with Kanye," the source shared.
Meanwhile, Kardashian has revealed that North West is jealous of her brother, Saint West. The 35-year-old television personality admitted that her daughter craves for attention.
She told People: "My daughter is still in the little jealous phase and that's really hard for me because she gets so jealous when I try to do anything with [Saint,] so I sneak moments with him or have my husband entertain her, and I have to separate it sometimes."
"North gets into the groove and realises that it's all going to be OK. There's enough attention and love for everybody," she added.
