Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif are again teaming up together for another movie "Bharat" which is an adaptation of a South Korean movie 'Ode to my father ' that was released in 2014. It depicts the modern history of Korea right from 1950 as well as the life of an ordinary man and his experiences of the Hungam evacuation of 1950 during the Korean War and Vietnam war.
It was also the second highest grossing Korean movie. The Bollywood version is going to be directed by Ali Abbas Afzar and produced by Salman Khan 's brother-in-law Atul Agnihotri. The film will be shot in countries like Abu Dhabi, Spain, and India and will go on floors in 2019.
As Salman Khan has loads of movies in his kitty this year and also in next year the scheduled dates for the movie are not yet decided. Incidentally, the movie is going to be released on EID 2019. Currently, Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif are busy with the movie "Tiger Zinda Hai " which is being directed by Ali Abbas Afzar.
"It's a character that I thought would resonate with him. It's a huge responsibility making a film with Salman as there are big expectations that come with the job. I'm very conscious about Salman's fan base and what they want. And once again, I'm convinced that being a family film it's worthy of coming during the festive time. And anyway, an Eid release is always every producer's preferred choice," Ali Abbas Zafar told one of the leading dailies.
