Dhinchak Pooja, who has recently entered the Bigg Boss 11 house, has dethroned Hina Khan by becoming the highest paid contestant in the Indian reality show of Bigg Boss 11. According to reports, Dhinchak Pooja has been offered quite a hefty sum as her fee for participating in the show.
Earlier, it was reported that Hina Khan is the highest paid contestant on Bigg Boss 11 as she's been given a fee of Rs 7-8 lakh per week. Hina is followed by co-contestant Hiten Tejwani who's just a few numbers less than Hina.
As per the norms of the reality show, commoners are generally paid somewhere close to Rs 20-25 thousand per week, to be on the show. But, reportedly this doesn't hold true for Dhinchak Pooja whose package is more than television actress Hina Khan.
Meanwhile, there are reports that the payment was one of the major reasons for Pooja to decline the show earlier as she was apparently not happy with the offered remuneration in the contract. Thus, the makers reworked on the YouTube sensations fee and approached her again after which she couldn't refuse the show.
