A new video has emerged on the internet that claims to have found evidence of a crashed alien mothership on Mars' surface. The video shows a long object photographed on the surface of Mars by NASA's Mars Global Surveyor. The object has been reconstructed and processed to liken it to a UFO.
The Mars Global Surveyor had been observing Mars until 2006, after which NASA lost contact with it. Now, its footages have served as the basis for a conspiracy theory doing the rounds on social media.
YouTube channel Paranormal Crucible has shown in a video how the long object on the red planet's surface could very well be an alien spacecraft. The craft, claimed to be 1.3 miles long, has been reconstructed digitally to make it appear like a huge spacecraft that could have carried several aliens to or from the planet.
The UFO hunters who run the channel are convinced that this could be key evidence in proving alien life in the universe. The channel has numerous such videos that point towards the possibility of extra-terrestrial organisms waiting to visit earth.
The caption of this particular video states, "I have processed, colorized and rebuilt the object and in my opinion it is a craft of some kind, possibly tens of thousands of, years old. The object is too degraded to enhance totally so I have rebuilt it using the points of interest that are shown in the video. It's also over a mile long, so this must have been a mothership, either a Martian one or possibly an off planet alien species, but why did it crash?"
The video, which was released on October 18, seems to have evoked mixed reactions from the viewers: some of them disregarding it completely and calling it ridiculous. Other commenters seemed less dismissive of the video's claims. Currently, the footage has about 8,000 views.
In another video, released on October 22 by the same channel, an object on Mars, likened to the sperm-shaped UFO anomaly from the STS 80 mission, is speculated to be some kind of critter, much like the tiny sea organisms found on earth.
This is not the first time that strange objects have been spotted on the surface of Mars. People have previously claimed to have identified pyramids, the Stone Henge, a human face, and even a floating spoon on the planet. Whether there is or has ever been life on Mars is a matter of great interest for both scientists and speculators.
