K-pop band BTS made their debut at the 2017 American Music Awards on November 19 at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles and has made headlines globally.
The sevensome made the crowd go crazy with their massive Love Yourself: Her hit, "DNA".
The audience in Hollywood applauded BTS' energetic performance. Baby Driver's Ansel Elgort got carried away with the high-octane act and ended up dancing excitedly.
Reports of BTS making history as the first Korean boy band to perform at AMA have been doing the rounds.
However, Perez Hilton an American blogger, columnist, and television personality who covers gossip items about celebrities wrote on his blog, saying
"The BTS fans are gonna love this one.
The popular South Korean boyband performed DNA at the American Music Awards, and well, it was something.
We're pretty sure they were lip-syncing, so there's that.
But we're also sure the fans still adored the whole thang!"

Later Perez, tweeted saying," Sure, they lipsynched, but they really brought it with the dancing! Watch BTS's debut U.S. performance at the #AMAs", along with the link of his blog which has attained Twitterati's mixed reactions. However, K-pop fans have bashed Perez badly for his judgemental take on BTS' performance.

The group is comprised of seven members: Jin, J-Hope, Jimin, Jungkook, RM (formerly known as Rap Monster), Suga and V: The Series.
The group made their debut with "No more Dream" from their first single 2 Cool 4 Skool on June 13, 2013.
