'Tik Tik Tik', renowned as the first ever space movie in India has been ruling the headlines till the date of its announcement. The movie which stars Tamil Superstar Jayam Ravi, Nivetha Pethuraj and Singaporean actor Aaron Aziz in the lead roles is all set to grace the big screens on December 22, 2017. The makers of the movie have now released its official trailer, and it has now taken YouTube by a storm.
Within 24 hours of its release, the trailer of 'Tik Tik Tik' has fetched more than one million YouTube views, with 85,000 likes, and the count is still going up. This film is directed by Shakthi Soundar Rajan, who has previously made the acclaimed zombie flick 'Miruthan'.
Tik Tik Tik: Made with International standards
The two-minutes and eighteen seconds trailer clearly indicates that the movie is made with International standards. The visuals in the trailer can be compared with any Hollywood films like 'Gravity', 'Armageddon' or 'Independence Day'. The background score used in the trailer too stands out. Imman's score coveys the mystery deeply into the minds of the viewers, and he deserves a loud round of applause for this experimental effort.
Going by the trailer, the basic plot of 'Tik Tik Tik' is somewhat similar to that of Micheal Bay's 1998 space film 'Armageddon'. Jayam Ravi is playing the role of a magician in this flick, who is now in charge of destroying a 60 square kilometer asteroid heading towards the Earth.
Soon after the release of the movie, film buffs in India started lauding Shakthi Soundar Rajan and Jayam Ravi for this huge effort. Many people took their social networking handles and claimed that this is India's response to Hollywood. Audiences in Singapore and Malaysia have also started noticing this flick, as Singaporean actor Aaron Aziz has played a very pivotal role in this flick.
