Dubbed as the most powerful iMac in history, it is not surprising that the iMac Pro is on top of countless tech enthusiasts' wishlist. On Thursday, December 14, Apple Inc has finally opened the pre-order for the 2017 killer computer in the US, the UK, Canada and other select markets. In Singapore, the next-generation Mac has been set to hit the shelves just before Christmas.
Launched during the Apple Worldwide Developers Conference back in June, the iMac Pro 2017 price has been expected to remain high in most countries. But in Singapore, those who wish to purchase this killer machine can get it starting on Tuesday, December 19.

In an official Apple announcement, the iMac Pro price is set at S$7,1888 for the 8-core variant with 32-gigabyte ECC RAM, 1-terabyte SSD and AMD Vega 56 CPU with 8-gigabyte HBM memory. It has a 27-inch 5K Retina display and comes with Space Grey colour option.
Its processor is powered by Intel Xeon, and it will be available in 10, 14 and 18-core variants as well. For those who need a bump, they can beef up the iMac Pro specifications with up to 128-gigabyte ECC RAM, up to 4-terabyte SSD storage and up to an AMD Vega GPU with up to 16-gigabyte framebuffer.

The 8 and 10-core variants will be available in Singapore as it is in the US, the UK, Canada and other markets. The 14 and 18-core variants will be available in 2018. Apple is yet to announce the exact order date.
