LiberTV 1.1 jailbreak has just been confirmed to arrive very soon on Apple TV and Apple TV 4K running tvOS 11 and tvOS 11.1. Shortly after its release, the Jailbreak Toolkit will also be rolled out.
Jonathan Levin on Monday, December 18 made the announcement of the LiberTV progress on Twitter, stressing that it will be released to the public once code signing will be completely disabled. Eligible Apple TV is the fourth and fifth generation running on tvOS 11 or tvOS 11.1.

It remains uncertain when exactly LiberTV 1.1 jailbreak will become available but Levin has guaranteed a three-day window from the time of posting. Apparently, the two newer Apple TV models are the only qualified devices for the jailbreak as they run on tvOS.
Levin used Ian Beer's exploit to work on the jailbreak for Apple TV.
At the end of his announcement is another good news: the arrival of his Jailbreak Toolkit, which he said will be out moments after the rollout of LiberTV 1.1 jailbreak to Apple TV.
One interested follower asked Levin if the toolkit needs to use mach port injection. With the help of Ian Beer's exploit, Levin said kernel is enough to execute the toolkit.
Finally, he has reminded Apple TV users interested in LiberTV 1.1 jailbreak to disable automatic or over-the-air updates so their devices will remain on tvOS 11 or tvOS 11.1.
