Google has officially started the pre-orders for its new product called Clips, a small smart camera powered by some incredible artificial intelligence technology. But just as promising as it is, catching the attention of consumers worldwide, the search giant has been forced to stop accepting new orders for now.
Google Clips pre-orders have been halted following the massive demand during the release date on Sunday. Before Google cut off the availability of the camera hours after its pre-orders on the same day, new orders were estimated to arrive between February 27 to March 5.

At press time, Google has not responded to media queries as to when exactly it is planning to accept orders again. It remains unknown when Google will release the device in Singapore.
Google Clips was first announced back in October 2017. It has a 130-degree field of view, 16 gigabytes of memory and shoots up to 15 frames per second. It is available in select countries for US$249.
Clips automatically captures photos or videos without a person controlling it. Thanks to machine learning, the device can recognise great expressions, lighting and framing, according to Google. It is best used for friends or family gatherings to take images or videos spontaneously.
With regards to a motion picture, Clips can capture up to 7 seconds, without audio. Its battery can last up to 3 hours of continuous use. Over time, it recognises faces which is helpful for taking clips and photos. Google uses secure encryption so users will rest assured memories are kept safe and private.
