Singapore's Central Police Division arrested four men along Crawford Lane for their suspected involvement in public gambling on Saturday. The authorities said on Monday that a total of $766 in cash was also seized from the suspects, aged between 64 and 81.

Under the Common Gaming Houses Act, if anyone gaming in public is convicted of an offence, he may face a jail tern of not more than six months or a a fine not exceeding $5,000 or both.
The police said that the investigations are still going on. They added that they will continue to take tough action against those involved in such illegal activities.
