The Singapore Police Force (SPF) and the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) will be conducting a two-hour joint exercise on Feb 1 at Woodlands Checkpoint. The authorities said in a Facebook post on Wednesday that the public should expect delays while travelling in that way.

"Members of the public should expect delays when travelling to Woodlands Checkpoint and are advised to use Tuas Checkpoint instead during the period of the exercise," SPF posted on Facebook.

The post added that parts of the Bukit Timah Expressway (BKE), Woodlands Avenue 3, Woodlands Road, Woodlands Crossing, Woodlands Centre Road and Admiralty Road West may be closed intermittently between 2 am to 4 am in order to facilitate the exercise.

SPF said that the police, emergency, and authorized vehicles will only be granted access during the exercise. It also added that police officers will be deployed at the affected junctions to assist and direct motorists.
