A laundry list of promising video games is coming out in February on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. From AAA publishers to independent developers, you have a lot to choose from. You can check the top and much-anticipated ones below:
EA Sports UFC 3 (Release date: February 2)
The most entertaining installment in the series yet, EA Sports UFC 3 commissions rapper Snoop Dog to deliver the commentary. Conor McGregor is also returning on the cover for the second time. Initial teasers released in 2017 show revered UFC fighters Anderson Silva, Demetrious Johnson, and Joanna Jedrzejczyk.
The third installment is expected to fill the shortcomings in the 2014 and 2016 installments, which were both hit-or-miss. Players can expect more fighters, enhanced animation, and a new G.O.A.T story mode.
EA Sports UFC 3 is available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
Shadow of the Colossus (Release date: February 6)
More than a decade ago since the first Shadow of the Colossus was released, this Japanese action-adventure title already has a lot of recognition under its belt. Metal Gear Survive (Release date: February 21)
The departure of game creator Hideo Kojima from the development process of the latest installment in the Metal Gear series has been an utter disappointment for many fans. But Konami has proven there are tonnes of new stuff hardcore players can expect from the new stealth-action single-player title.
Metal Gear Survive will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
Pac-Man Championship Edition 2 Plus (Release date: February 22)
One of the most iconic games ever produced, a new sequel to the Pac-Man series is arriving on the Switch made much more fun and exciting. With its co-op mode, players can are pitted against each other on a single platform, thanks to the console's lovable Joy-Cons.
Pac-Man Championship Edition 2 Plus will be available exclusively on Nintendo Switch.
