In celebration of Association of Southeast Asian Nations' 50th anniversary, airline firm Air Asia unveiled promo fares to all destinations across its regional network.
According to the group's release, customers will be able to book one-way flights from Kuala Lumpur to Langkawi, Johor Baru, Penang, Medan, Kalibo, Sihanoukville, Phnom Penh and other destinations for only around US$11.69 (RM 50).
Customers will be able to avail of the promo by booking through AirAsia's website and mobile app from August 7 to 13 2017. They can book flights scheduled between August 7 and February 8 to any destination in Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, the Philippines, Singapore, Brunei, Cambodia, Myanmar, Laos, and Vietnam.
AirAsia CEO Tan Sri Tony Fernandez said this promotion is the airlines' contribution to the commemoration of the ASEAN founding in 1967.
"For 50 years, ASEAN has inspired us with its message of unity. As ASEANists, we want to return the favour and we hope these low fares will inspire the people to discover more about the region we call home.
AirAsia has operations in Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, and the Philippines and is the only airline that flies directly to all 10 ASEAN countries.
