Online retail giant Amazon on Thursday launched six new gadgets that will surely be a huge hit to all cheapskates. From tablets to a 4K television, everything is priced under US$150.
Amazon's bid to go down low when it comes to product costs is happening once again as the company announced its new batch of budget-friendly hardware products. They are called Echo Buttons, Echo Plus and cloth-covered Echo, Echo Connect, Echo Spot and Fire TV.

The Echo Buttons cost US$20 a pair. Available in blue and red colours, the buzzers can be connected to Amazon Echo and serve as inputs for Alexa-powered games.
The Echo Plus costs US$150, while the cloth-wrapped Echo costs US$90. The new Echo is an upgrade to the original Echo. It sports a dedicated woofer, tweeter and Dolby sound. Echo Plus acts as a smart home hub powered by more than 100 partners. It also comes with a Philips Hue bulb.
The Echo Connect landline is priced at US$35. It is likely capable of making VoIP (voice-over internet protocol) calls by connecting it to the Echo.
The Echo Spot alarm clock drops at US$130. This smart clock is able to do video calls as it houses a camera.
The Fire TV costs US$70. It is unbelievably capable of streaming 4K resolution up to 60 frames per second. It comes with a remote with Alexa voice control support which can also be used to control other devices connected to an Echo device.
