Apple is expected to announce a bunch of new products early next week between 20 March and 24 March, according to MacRumors citing info from well-known supply chain analysts. With Apple likely to preview major platform updates for iOS, macOS, watchOS and tvOS at the forthcoming Annual Developers Conference on 5 June, we could expect some refreshed models of iPad Pro coming to the March press event as tipped by renowned KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo.
Apple will be presenting its premium product upgrades including iPhones, iPads, Macs and major iOS upgrades in September, as it has been doing so for several years in history. Although it is not yet clear if the trio of new-gen iPads including the second-gen 12.9in iPad Pro, 9.7in iPad Pro (budget model) and a new bezel-less iPad Pro will make their debut at Apple's March event, it is almost certain that all three refreshed models will use liquid crystal displays.
Meanwhile, Japanese blog Mac Otakara has confirmed through its internal sources that the upcoming March event will witness the launch of a new 128GB model for iPhone SE, along with a range of Spring-themed Apple Watch bands and the Red variant of iPhone 7.
If there is any truth to the rumours, Apple looks all geared up for the March event launch as the company is poised to send invites to select members of the press sooner or later this week.
