The Android 7.0 Nougat update for Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge is all set for its global release across a slew of countries in Europe and Middle East, starting today. Despite the limited reach of the official Nougat firmware since its initial release in January, the update is now available for manual download on both the S7 and S7 Edge devices.
Those who cannot wait for the forthcoming over-the-air (OTA) rollout for Android 7.0 Nougat update on their Galaxy S7/S7 Edge may go ahead and perform a manual installation using a computer. As SamMobile reports, the update is also available through Samsung's Smart Switch program.
Some of the noteworthy features ported into the latest Nougat update include improved battery usage indicator, transparent app folders, video enhancer, blue light filter and Samsung Pass.
