Angelina Jolie is ready to date after her split from Brad Pitt. Brangelina fans around the world were shocked when the 41-year-old actress filed for divorce from him on 19 September 2016, citing irreconcilable differences.
A source told Hollywood Life: "Angelina isn't seriously involved with anyone right now. She has a lover, but that's as far as it goes, at least for now. Angelina has no intention of jumping straight back into a serious relationship — she's fully focused on the kids, her career, and adjusting to being single once again."
"It's a time of great adjustment, and of growth. Angelina is definitely maturing and coming into her own—for the first time in a very long time, she's finally looking forward to the future once again, and the next chapter in her life," the insider added.
During an interview with the Associated Press, the Oscar-winning actor assured he is fine though the couple are not together anymore. He said: "I'm not suicidal or something. There's still much beauty in the world and a lot of love. And a lot of love to be given. It's all right. It's just life."
Pitt admitted that he misses his children, Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, and twins Vivienne and Knox. He shared: "Kids are everything. Kids are your life. They're taking all the focus, as they should anyway."
When asked how he is so open lately, he replied: "I've got no secrets. I've got nothing to hide. . . . We're human and I find the human condition very interesting. If we're not talking about it, then we're not getting better."
