Angelina Jolie is reportedly having a hard time dealing with split from Brad Pitt. The 41-year-old actress had filed for divorce from him on 19 September citing irreconcilable differences.
According to a report in Radar Online, Jolie is smoking heavily after leaving her husband of two years. A source said: "Angie doesn't eat, she chain-smokes. She easily goes through two packs a day."
"Going up against Brad has been the hardest thing Angie's ever faced. She's stressed out, and in a constant state of anxiety. The cigarettes kill her appetite, but she's already skin and bones. The last thing she should be doing is skipping meals!" the insider added.
In March 2015, the Academy Award winning actress revealed that she has had her ovaries and fallopian tubes removed to prevent the onset of ovarian cancer. Jolie's mother, actress Marcheline Bertrand, had died of breast cancer in 2007 at age 56.
She talked about her double mastectomy during an interview with Vogue. She said: "It's hard. They are not easy surgeries. The ovaries are an easy surgery, but the hormone changes, interesting. We did joke that I had my Monday edit. Tuesday surgery. Wednesday go into menopause. Thursday come back to edit, a little funky with my steps."
"I feel grounded as a woman," Jolie continued. "I know others do too. Both of the women in my family, my mother and my grandmother started dying in their 40s. I'm 40. I can't wait to hit 50 and know I made it."
