Apple's new compact smartphone replaces the existing iPhone 5S. The iPhone SE is basically the iPhone 6S in a package much more comfortable to hold. It is small in size but retains the same power as other iPhones.
The iPhone SE has a 4-inch display, same as the one on iPhone 5S. There's A9 64 bit processor along with M9 coprocessor. It also has the same 12MP camera with 4K video recording. It will come in two variants, 16GB and 64GB. Design wise, iPhone SE is iPhone 5S with nothing changed. But this one also comes in Rose Gold along with the usual grey, silver and gold colors.
How much do I need to shell out?
It's not iPhone if it doesn't come with high price tag. The Apple iPhone SE will cost $399 for 16GB and $499 for 64GB. You can order it from March 24 and it will start shipping from March 31.
