The much-anticipated smartphone from Apple's stable is finally here. After series of leaks and speculations, Apple finally revealed the iPhone X at a launch event at the newly introduce campus of the company Apple Park, which was originally envisioned by Steve Jobs. As per Tim Cook, the entire campus replaces 5 million square feet of asphalt and concrete with grassy fields and over 9,000 native and drought-resistant trees.
The new super flagship iPhone X packs in some superb technologies that were never seen before in any other iPhone.
"Over the past decade, we've pushed forward with innovation after innovation, bringing us to this moment, when we can create devices that are far more intelligent, far more capable, and far more creative than ever before," said Tim Cook while introducing the iPhone X, which he believes will carve the path of technology and innovation for the next decade.
The iPhone X has a glass-body and "surgical-grade" stainless steel around the sides. The smartphone is water and dust resistant at a microscopic level and comes in two colours - space gray and silver.
It features the highest pixel density (458ppi) that has been seen any iPhone. iPhone X also has, what Apple calls, a super retina display. Its true tone display is also the first OLED display in an iPhone.
As was suggested by earlier leaks, Apple has, indeed, ditched the home button in iPhone X and the phone now unlocks with Facial ID. Users can unlock the screen just by looking at the screen, thanks to the advanced face tracking technology. The Face ID also works with Apple Pay and third party apps. Since the home button isn't there anymore, users can now go to the home screen with just a swipe from the bottom of the screen.
Apple iPhone X has 4K HDR video quality and boasts a 12-MP dual camera at the back of it. The sensors are both larger and faster, according to Apple. While the main camera has an f/1.8 aperture, the telephoto lens has an f/2.4 aperture.
iPhone X brings in remarkable AR experience for the users with ARKit. It also has Animoji, which is 3D, animated emojis that can be created via users' facial expression.
Apple has integrated its own A11 processor inside the phone. iPhone X boasts two performance cores, four high-efficiency cores, and the first Apple-designed GPU.

The tech giant has also introduced wireless charging technology with the phone. It has launched a charging pad of its own, called AirPower, which can charge all the Apple devices at the same time. The charging pad will be available for the users next year.
The iPhone X comes in two storage variants – 64GB and 256GB. The price of the device starts from $999. Pre-orders for the phone will open on and from October 27 and the delivery would start from November 3.
Apple also launched watchOS 4, Apple Watch Series 3, iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 plus at the event.
