Apple is likely to launch a slew of new products including the iPad Air 3 at a mid-march event, reports have said.
Alongside the new iPad hardware, which will sport a 9.7-inch screen, Apple will launch a new 4-inch iPhone known as the "iPhone 5se" and a series of new Apple Watch models.
Citing sources and an unconfirmed design schematic, 9to5Macs has reported that the new product could feature 9.7-inch screen, a rear-facing LED flash for improved photos in low-light situations and additional speaker grills to better match the audio quality of the iPad Pro.
The Apple experts don't quite agree on the rumoured specs an features of the new iPad though.
Digitimes said in a report on Thursday the new 9.7-inch device will be equipped with a 4K resolution panel and up to 4GB in RAM, in addition to improved battery life.
The report also confirms the mid-March arrival of the new iPad and other devices.
However, 9to5Mac has questioned the report saying it doesn't sound logical. 9to5 Mac's Mark Gurman says "a 4K display would give the iPad Air 3 a higher-resolution screen than the iPad Pro, which would seem unlikely."
Everyone agrees that the Apple event, which could be in the week of March 14, will witness the launch of the new 4-inch iPhone and new watch models. There is no consensus among market watches what the new phone will be called. A lot of people think it will be iphone 5se, being a special edition phone.
Speculation is that it will sport aster A9 processor, M9 chip with support for always-on Siri activation, more storage, updated cameras, the ability to take Live Photos, and an NFC chip for Apple Pay, the report says.
There will also be new line of protective cases for the 5se, which may fit the existing 5s, the report says.
