Arsenal host Manchester City at the Emirates Stadium in what will be their 28th match of the ongoing Premier League season on Sunday.
The Gunners are resuming their campaign after the recently-concluded international break and under-fire Arsene Wenger will be hoping to take his team back into the top-four as they have slipped to sixth following four defeats in their last five league matches.
On the other hand, Manchester City, who defeated Arsenal in their early-season meeting last December, will look to get back to winning ways after two consecutive league draws.
In what will be an important month in April for Arsenal, who have five more games lined up after today's clash, a good start is necessary and beating Pep Guardiola's men at home will help Wenger and his men silence the critics. The return of Mesut Ozil, who has been out since the Gunners' Champions League first-leg loss to Bayern Munich, will certainly boost the team ahead of the big clash.
On the other hand, Wenger will be missing first-choice goalkeeper Petr Cech, who is out with a calf injury and Alexis Sanchez will also be assessed before the match as he was busy with Chile during the international break.
Fourth-placed City, who are facing pressure from Manchester United, who are steadily climbing the points table, have to cope up with the absence of quite a few big names - Kevin de Bruyne, Gabriel Jesus and Ilkay Gundogan - due to injuries. Raheem Sterling, who scored the winner in their earlier meeting, is also in doubt after picking up an injury during international duty.
