Overview

Arsenal made it to the fifth round of the 2016/17 FA Cup after registering a crushing 4-0 victory over Southampton at St Mary's Stadium. The Gunners manager Arsene Wenger made wholesale changes to his starting lineup and still managed to get a result against the Saints.

The north London club sealed a late 2-1 victory over Burnley in the last league tie, courtesy of Alexis Sanchez's stoppage time penalty, which was the difference between the two sides. It will be important for Arsenal to keep their winning run intact when they face Watford on Tuesday.

In the reverse fixture earlier this season, Arsenal registered a 3-1 win over Watford. Walter Mazzarri will be hoping his side can register a victory over the Premier League top clubs away from home.

The Hornets were eliminated from the FA Cup following their 1-0 narrow defeat at the hands of Millwall. Mazzarri will be looking for a reaction against Arsenal and a win over the Gunners could be the best way to bounce back from the cup exit.
