Asus is going to finally unveil its ZenFone 4 on August 19 in the Philippines. As per the invitation by the company, we can totally expect a new phone, which will feature a dual camera set up and better sensors than its predecessors.
A version of ZenFone 4 is already functional in Russia, however, under a different moniker. Dubbed, ZenFone 4 Max, the Russian version of the phone incorporates dual cameras on the back and is powered by either a Snapdragon 430 or 425 processor, reported The Verge.
It isn't yet clear whether Asus will just reintroduce this phone only for other markets or release a similar device.
Meanwhile, Marcel Campos, Asus' head of marketing, has taken to the photo-sharing social media platform Instagram and is continuously posting photos using the hashtag "ZenFone X." He's most certainly showing off what these new cameras of ZenFone 4 are capable of, particularly with wide shots.
If you look at the photos, they aren't bad at all for a mid-range Android phone, although we've seen other OEMs include dual-camera systems at an affordable price point, including Honor and even Asus with its ZenFone 3 Zoom.
Here are some of Campos' snaps:
