Overview

Barcelona and Real Madrid go head-to-head in the ongoing La Liga's season first El Clasico at the Camp Nou on 3 December.

The hosts are in a spot of bother after being winless in their last three outings which includes two uninspiring league draws. Barcelona head into Saturday's clash on the back of a 1-1 draw against Hercules, in which their fringe players failed to fulfill expectations.

The Catalans have not been at their best in the ongoing season after losing two and dropping points on three occasions in their 13 games so far. Placed second, with a six point gap, behind leaders Real Madrid (33), Luis Enrique's men cannot afford to slip further on Saturday with pressure mounting from third-placed Sevilla and fourth-placed Atletico Madrid.

However, the return of Andres Iniesta, who was out for more than a month due to knee injury, will boost the morale of the side. The midfielder, who has a wealth of El Clasico experience, will let Lionel Messi and Co. play with more freedom at the front. The attacking trio of the Argentine, Neymar and Luis Suarez are expected to be at their best to produce a positive result.

On the other hand, Zinedine Zidane's men have remained unbeaten in the ongoing season so far with star striker Cristiano Ronaldo topping the league scoring charts with 10 goals so far. A lot will depend on their in-form Portugal captain as Real would want to keep their unbeaten run (31, all competitions) in tact.

However, Real will be without Gareth Bale, who will likely be out for four months after he suffered a ankle injury against Sporting Lisbon last week.
