Ben Affleck has reportedly moved back in with his estranged wife Jennifer Garner in their Pacific Palisades home. The two have remained close, though they announced their divorce in a joint statement on 30 June 2015 — a day after their tenth wedding anniversary.
A source told X17online: "At some point it just seemed illogical to keep living separately. He spends so much time in the main family home, the kids thought it was weird and they were asking lots of questions so both Jen and Ben thought it made sense for him to officially come home."
Previously, Affleck had talked about his successful co-parenting with Garner. He told E! Online: "I was doing math homework last night. When I'm there, you're stuck with your parents helping you with your homework. Jen [Garner]'s very good at math [too]. So far, my eldest kid is in fifth grade and they haven't passed me yet. But I feel like in seventh or eighth grade I'm going to start worrying that they're going to lose me."
Affleck continued: "It's important to be involved with your kids' schoolwork so you know what's going on and what they're doing and what you're supposed to be supporting and going to school nights."
Adding on, Garner revealed details about her split with Affleck in an interview with Vanity Fair. She told the publication: "I didn't marry the big fat movie star; I married him. And I would go back and remake that decision. I ran down the beach to him, and I would again. You can't have these three babies and so much of what we had. He's the love of my life. What am I going to do about that? He's the most brilliant person in any room, the most charismatic, the most generous. He's just a complicated guy. I always say, 'When his sun shines on you, you feel it.' But when the sun is shining elsewhere, it's cold. He can cast quite a shadow."
"It was a real marriage. It wasn't for the cameras. And it was a huge priority for me to stay in it. And that did not work," she added.
