South Korean boy band Bangtan Boys (BTS) has been honoured with the most unexpected accreditation by Dazed magazine. The BTS band has found a distinguished position in the list of "Best Music Videos of 2016" complied by the monthly British magazine, Dazed.
The South Korean boy band now stands tall in a list in which renowned musicians and singers like Beyonce and Kanye West hold a strong position. The band has been given a place in the list of Best Music Videos of 2016 for their eminent music video of their chart topping song "Blood Sweat & Tears".
The Dazed website described the video with words of high regard and appreciation which read:
"Phenomenally successful K-Pop seven-piece BTS regularly work with directorial collective LUMPENS to create intricate visual universes for their music videos. Densely layered with metaphors, allegories, and literary references, the classical imagery and dark undertones of the six-minute "Blood Sweat & Tears" video rewards inquisitive fans with its musings on themes of destiny and mortality."
2016 has been a rewarding year for the seven-member pop band with many prestigious awards presented to them. The band last month bagged two Melon Music Awards -Top 10 and one of the biggest awards (Daesang) of the night, the Best Album of the Year award for their "The Most Beautiful Moment in Life: Young Forever" album.
And there's no end to their list of achievements for the group's latest album 'Wings', which has made an exemplary new US record for "Highest Charting and Best Selling K-Pop Album". With success written on their cards, the Big Hit Entertainment group is flourishing and gathering recognition on a global level.
BTS is the only distinguished K-Pop group that is included in the list that incorporates favoured artists like Kanye West, Beyonce and Grimes. Its good to know that not only awards but the band is also gathering positive recognition by the British magazine providing the musical group a deserving place among popular American artists.
