Soon after the separation of power couple of Hollywood Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, rumours started circulating that the Hollywood hunk allegedly tried to reach out to his ex-wife Jennifer Aniston. Now, it has been reported that the "Friends" actress may even do a movie with her former husband that was initially planned to be played by Jolie.
According to NW magazine, the actor allegedly convinced his director James Gray to get Jennifer to co-star in the upcoming new movie. In fact, that will definitely boost the ratings as well as the ticket sales of the film.
According to inquisitr, an insider said, "Teaming up with Jen would absolutely guarantee that the movie would be a huge hit."
Moreover, the insider added, "when they were married, Brad and Jen always wanted to work together but the right project...just never materialised."
It is not known if it's a revenge game as the role was originally meant for Jolie and no other woman can be better than Jennifer in this case.
Reports of them talking again started circulating during Aniston's birthday. An insider revealed, "They started talking once he wished her a happy birthday."
"Brad told Jen he's having a hard time with his split and they exchanged a few texts reminiscing about the past," the source added.
The separation has been tough for Brad who is wanting to get joint custody of Maddox, 15; Pax, 13; Zahara, 12; Shiloh, 10; and 8-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne. In fact, after the split the Fight Club lost a lot of weight which reflects that it has affected him mentally and physically.
An insider told Woman's Day, "Aniston says after everything they've been through...she feels extremely protective of Brad and she feels a duty to support him. Jen will drop everything to be by Brad's side right now."
