BTS was in the midst of the controversy for allegedly copying a performance by Big Bang's T.O.P. The entire showdown began after BTS' Save Me and Blood, Sweat & Tears performance at the recent GAON Chart Kpop Awards.
Soon netizens opined that the stage setup was copied from a previous solo performance by T.O.P at Big Bang's performance. Big Ban fans also demanded an apology and reportedly a producer at YG Entertainment also condemned it.
Now BTS' agency Big Hit Entertainment has made an official statement claiming that the stage design was not set up by them. AllKPop reported: "Our side did not prepare the production for BTS' stage in general. These complaints have nothing to do with us."
On the other hand, the popularity of BTS, also known as Bangtan Boys, seems to be soaring high beating their counterparts.
