BTS overtook rookie Wanna One in the latest brand reputation rankings for boy bands in October.
The Korea Institute for Corporate Reputation has issued the latest data for brand values covering 50 Korean boy bands.
From September 13 to October 14, the institute analyzed 72.46 million pieces of big data, lower by 2.53 percent compared to September, based on media, participation, communication and community values.
BTS took the No. 1 spot with a score of 12.37 million, an increase of 65.01 percent compared to their second-place score of 7.49 million.
Eleven-member Wanna One slid from first to second place with 11.87 million, dropping by 37.1 percent compared to 18.88 million last month.
BTS added another item to their string of record-breaking feats by selling 1.2 million copies of their latest album "Love Yourself: Her," the best selling album in Korea in 16 years.
According to Korea's Gaon Chart, the feat was achieved by BTS from September 18, the album's release date, to September 30.
Overall, it is second to veteran boy band g.o.d's album "Chapter 4," which sold 1.44 million in a single month in November 2001.
Placing third in brand values is EXO with 6.26 million, followed by Sechs Kies with 3.34 million and BTOB with 2.39 million.
