Korean boy group BTS continued their streak on two major Billboard charts for the fourth straight week.
The seven-member band released their latest album "Love Yourself: Her" a month ago on September 18 and it continues to figure on various charts.
On Billboard 200, the album placed at No. 15 for the week ending October 28, up from 35th place last week. The album debuted on the chart at No. 7, the highest placing for a Korean act, on the week of October 7 before settling at No. 25 the following week.
The album's lead single "DNA" ranked 98th this week after debuting at No. 85 on the week of October 7 and rising to No. 67 the following week and settling at No. 87 the week after.
BTS became the second K-pop singer to land a Korean-language track on the Billboard Hot 100 after Psy's 2012 hit "Gangnam Style."
"Love Yourself: Her" is also No. 1 on the current Billboard's World Albums chart.
In South Korea, BTS rewrote music history when Gaon Chart announced that the album has sold 1.2 million copies in September, the bestselling album in 16 years. The album sold 760,000 copies in the first week alone. Veteran boy band g.o.d sold 1.44 million copies of their album in 2001.
In Japan, "Love Yourself: Her" topped the Oricon Chart when it sold 69,075 copies for the month of September.
Last week, the music video for "DNA" reached 100 million views in just 24 days, the fastest for a K-pop group.
In one month since the video was uploaded on YouTube on September 18, "DNA" has garnered 111.89 million views as of press time.
In December, BTS will release an album in Japan containing the Japanese versions of "DNA" and "Mic Drop" and an original Japanese song titled "Crystal Snow."
