BTS leader Rap Monster is all well and ready for the band's next concert in Manila. The 21-year-old who collapsed during the Beijing show, assured his well-being to the Chinese fans through social media.
The South Korean rapper updated his twitter with a 'Thank You' message for his anxious fans. He wrote, " I'm sorry for worrying all the fans. Also, I want to tell our fans in Beijing that I saw you for the first time in a while, but I couldn't be with you until the end, so I was really upset. I rested and I feel a lot better! I'm really okay, and from now I'll take care of my health before and after concerts. Please understand, and I thank everyone who is worried about me!"
The incident occurred while the popular boy band, BTS was performing in Beijing as a part of their Asia tour entitled 2016 BTS LIVE: The Most Beautiful Moment In Life On Stage: Epilogue. The lead rapper reportedly lost consciousness and fainted on the stage while performing. He was rushed backstage, and did not return to participate in the remaining performance.
As per BTS's agency, the singer collapsed due to heat and lack of oxygen. Big Entertainment stated: "According to the medical professional, Rap Monster was having difficulty breathing due to the heat and a lack of oxygen, causing a temporary decline in his health, although they say that there is nothing seriously wrong with his health."
"Nevertheless, as the members' health is the top priority, Rap Monster did not [return] to the stage and today's concert was held by the remaining six members," the agency told Soompi.
BTS will be seen performing in Manila on July 30.
