Soilbuild Construction Group on Monday warned on third-quarter profit, citing lower revenue and bump up in costs.
Soilbuild Construction Group said it is expected to report a loss for the third quarter ended September 30, mainly attributable to lower revenue recognised and higher construction cost incurred during the period.
Further details of the financial results will be disclosed at the time of the announcemnet of results, which is expected to be on or around November 2, the company said in a regulatory filing.
the builder reported a 70 percent slump in second-quarter net profit due to lower revenue contributions from its major Singapore projects and increased investments.
The Group's order book stood at S$521.4 million as at 30 June 2017.
Shares in the company ended down 4 percent at S$0.18 on the Singapore Exchange. The stock has lost 15 percent so far this year.
