Rumors have it that the much-anticipated Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered could be launched as early as today, on June 20th. A recent leak suggests that the game, which was originally bundled with Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, will cost $39.99.
A tipster has sent photos of the front and back of a PS4 box to Charlie Intel. However, the release date seems uncertain at this point with June 20 and June 27 both as possible launch dates, reported Forbes.
The information from Charli Intel also matches a previous leak, which too noted a June release of the aforementioned game, at least for the PS4 version, said Forbes.
The sticker price, although disappointing, is not a surprise to the gamers. You will be able to your hands on the Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered for $20 on top of the $60 Infinite Warfare. Otherwise, you can technically get it for free if you buy the $100 Collector's Edition which comes with both the remaster and the season pass. The season passes costs $50 if you buy it separately.
So, it looks like PS4 owners either will be able to buy the game from today only or next Thursday if these leaks are anything to go by.
Thanks to Sony and Activision's timed exclusive deal the Xbox owners and PC players will most likely have to wait for another month to get their hands on the Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered, although that also remains uncertain for now.
As usual, take all these leaks with a pinch of salt and don't get your hopes high until you hear it from the horse's mouth.
