Cha Tae Hyun has opened up about working with younger actress Kim Yoo Jung. The two who have a 23-year age-gap, willl be seen together in the upcoming romantic-comedy film, Because I Love You.
During a session of Kim Shin Young's Hope Song at Noon, the 40-year-old actor was asked about acting opposite the 17-year-old actor. He said: "It wasn't overwhelming because her role wasn't one requiring love with me. Kim Yoo Jung plays a high schooler, and it was really good to have an actual high schooler play a high schooler. In the past, high schoolers were played by youthful actors. It also applies to me, but you can't forcefully play it."
Recently, Yoo Jung was hospitalized for stress-induced shock. During a live broadcast on Naver's V Live, Tae Hyun detailed about her health. He said: "Yesterday, Yoo Jung got sick again. I want you all to give her a lot of strength. Please cheer her on."
"If she has a cold, she can't take medicine and has to suffer until her condition improves," he continued. "When I look at her, it is like looking at one of my children, so I am really heartbroken."
Meanwhile, Yoo Jung's agency revealed the actress is undergoing treatment. SidusHQ stated: "Kim Yoo Jung showed signs of stress-induced shock in the evening of December 26, and was immediately rushed to the hospital. She is currently receiving treatment at the hospital, and we will need to make changes to her current schedule of movie promotions and end-of-the-year awards ceremonies."
