Chelsea host Swansea City at Stamford Bridge on Saturday afternoon in a bid to extend their lead at the top of the Premier League table.
The Blues campaign has hit a small roadblock in the recent weeks as they have won only one of their last three league matches. While the win came against Arsenal (3-1), Conte's men were held by Liverpool and lowly-ranked Burnley.
However, Chelsea gained a crucial FA Cup win against Wolverhampton Wanderers (2-0) on the road last Saturday to boost their momentum. Conte's men have a good opportunity to stay away from the rest of the pack if they manage a win today as their rivals Manchester City and Arsenal's weekend games have been postponed. However, they are facing a Swansea, who have tremendously improved under their new manager Paul Clement.
The Swans are heading into the game on the back of their 2-0 win against defending champions Leicester City. After struggling around the relegation zone last year, the Welsh club has garnered momentum and won three of their last four games in all competitions, including the one against Liverpool at Anfield last month.
Clement, who had been the former assistant manager at Stamford Bridge, is likely to come up with a strong strategy against Conte's men and make sure his team collects at least a point from the clash.
Chelsea, on the other hand, rested quite a few players for their last week's clash against Wolverhampton and the likes of Diego Costa, who scored the crucial brace to snatch a draw in their early-season meeting against the Swans, is key to the Blues chances today as well. Despite being in good form, Swansea will have to punch above their weight if they are to stand a chance against Conte's unit.
