CLC's fourth mini-album Nu.Clear will not get released on its scheduled date. The girl group's agency has reportedly scrapped all the previously manufactured copies in order to re-release the album all over again.
On 30 May, Cube entertainment disclosed that they were not happy with the final product, and hence could not release the same. The officials from the agency quoted Allkpop: "We've decided to discard all copies of CLC's new 4th mini-album 'NU.CLEAR'. It was a difficult decision, but we'll take the hit for a better quality album for fans."
The statement read: "CLC's comeback this time around has all 7 members with Kwon Eun Bin's addition. It was necessary to give a better album to the fans who've been waiting to see CLC come back as a whole. We thank and apologize to the fans who pre-ordered. We ask for your understanding."
CLC's forthcoming album, Nu.Clear was set to release its physical and digital copy on 30 May. While the digital album was launched in the media showcase, the release date of physical copies has now been pushed to 3 June.
Meanwhile, at the launch event for CLC's 4th mini album, the girl group performed the track High Heels from their previous album, along with their new songs No Oh Oh and One, Two, Three. The seven-member girl gang will start the promotional tour with their first music stage performance in MBC Music's Show Champion on 1 June.
