After a 61-year-old woman crashed her vehicle into Jurong East Central overbridge on January 26 being freaked out by a cockroach, people are being very particular about the cleanliness of their vehicles. After all roach phobia, Katsaridaphobia is not very uncommon.
According to the reports, the driver was traveling alone on the road when suddenly upon seeing the insect inside her vehicle she lost control and hit the overbridge. The woman with minor injuries was taken to Ng Teng Fong General Hospital.
Soon after the accident, photos went viral on Facebook. In the images, it showed that the car was mounted on the pavement and the front bumper of the car was heavily damaged as the woman hit the railings of the bridge's staircase.

Herbal pesticides for cockroaches can prove effective as well. The herbal mix and gel can be applied in kitchen cabinets and wardrobes and should be left for at least 30-40 minutes. Cockroaches end up consuming the gel and eventually die. In most of the cases, it is 90 percent effective.
