A celebrity gossip website has come up with claims that Nicki Minaj is faking her split with Meek Mill.
MediaTakeOut claimed that Minaj is still in love with the 29-year-old artist. An alleged source said: "I don't think they ever even broke up. Nicki was in the studio all last week and she was texting with [Meek]. He even came by and picked her up."
"I don't know – it's probably all just [publicity]. I don't think they ever broke up," the insider added.
However, the Starships singer confirmed that she is single on her social media account.
Minaj tweeted: "To confirm, yes I am single. Focusing on my work & looking forward to sharing it with you guys really soon. Have a blessed New Year. Love u"
Previously, Minaj had opened up about her fantasy of running away with Drake and getting married. In an interview with i-D, the rapper gushed about her ideal man. She said: "One day I will run away with Drake and get married, but right now it's just a fantasy."
She was also asked about her perfect woman, which she said was Rihanna. She revealed: "She fondled me at the MTV Awards and the America Music Awards. I love her. She's the best fondler ever."
