South Korean actress/singer Sulli has been reportedly rushed to hospital with injuries to her wrists. According to various media reports, the 22-year-old artist was rushed to Seoul University Hospital, and was accompanied by her manager.
Sulli is reportedly declared out of danger after 30 minutes of treatment. Her agency, SM Entertainment said: "After checking with Sulli, it's revealed that she was rushed to the emergency room in the early morning for an arm injury that occurred at home due to her carelessness. She has returned home after receiving treatment."
Fans of the former member of girl group f(x) suspect she was trying to self-harm.
Sulli did not show any signs of sadness or depression in her posts on social media ahead of the incident.
In 2014, Sulli withdrew from the public eye, due to physical and mental fatigue. SM Entertainment announced at that time: "We regret to give f(x) fans this kind of news but ask for continuous support and love for f(x). Because she is suffering physically from her ailments and mentally from the malicious and untrue rumors that are spreading about her, Sulli has requested that she take a break from all entertainment activities. After careful consideration, the agency has decided to minimize activities and give her a break in respect for her wishes and to protect our artists."
Sulli had been filming for her upcoming movie titled Real with actor Kim Soo Hyun. She was rumoured to have exposed her bust while shooting an intimate scene in the movie.
