Donald Trump Jr. retweets 'assassination attempt' after 'gun' incident at Trump rally

Secret Service agents and Reno Police Officers could not find any weapon at the campaign place after a thorough search.

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump was rushed off stage by secret service personnel during a campaign rally on Saturday night in Reno, Nevada, after an unidentified individual was seen shouting "Gun" right at the front of the dias.

Police said later no firearm was recovered at the scene but the incident led to commotion and conjectures. Confounding matters further, the candidate's son, Donald Trump Jr., retweeted a tweet that eremd the incident an "assassination attempt" on Donald Trump. The republican's top social media aide Dan Scavino also reportedly referred to the incident as an assassination attempt.

Trump Jr. also said that the person who caused the disturbance had a gun. However, the Secret Service agents and Reno Police Officers did not find any weapon at the place after a thorough search.

Shortly after the incident, he retweeted a suggestion on Twitter. But, Trump Sr. returned to the stage a little after the incident.

"Nobody said it was going to be easy for us, but we will never be stopped... never ever be stopped..." Trump said at the campaign rally.

"I want to thank the secret service, you guys are fantastic, they don't get enough credit, they're amazing people..." he added.
