The E3 2017 event is coming and there is a lot of upcoming titles waiting to be announced. Some of the big announcements expected during the three-day event include Destiny 2, Assassin's Creed: Origins, Star Wars: Battlefront 2, and Super Mario Odyssey.
Assassin's Creed: Origins
Days before the supposed launch at the event, Assassin's Creed: Origins cover poster has been leaked to the public. However, it remains a mystery when Ubisoft will drop the new title on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Speculations suggest 27 October is the release date.
So far, what has been unveiled is the time set in Cleopatra's era. Notable landmarks to make an appearance in the game include Alexandria and Memphis. Bayek, the main protagonist, founds the Assassins Brotherhood who will rise up against the reign of the iron lady.
Destiny 2
Bungie has been generous enough to release quite countless details of the shooter franchise. While it has not dropped the official title of the franchise yet, this could be the big reveal at the event. Destiny 2 is due for release on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on 27 September. The PC release date has not been released yet so it might well be announced at the event.
Star Wars: Battlefront 2
With the string of shooter titles coming up in the Fall, Star Wars: Battlefront 2 might struggle to keep up. But as fans would say, the new instalment will be best enjoyed by them more than the newcomers as it sticks to a minimal content, unlike Destiny 2 and Call of Duty: WWII. Nevertheless, developers are looking forward to welcoming more new fans to enjoy the sequel.
New leaked footage shows Darth Maul, Rey, and Boba Fett in action at the Naboo palace and nearby streets. The 12-minute clip is said to be intentionally dropped by EA as it was expected to reveal the gameplay later today.
Super Mario Odyssey
Nintendo is off to a repeat of last year's promising Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild reveal. With Super Mario Odyssey, the Kyoto developer is expected to unveil more of the new title. So far, what has been revealed only is the iconic Mario hat having eyes. Fans might be seeing the gameplay at the event.
