Ellen Degeneres and Portia De Rossi are considered the most perfect couple, but recently, break-up rumours started making rounds surrounding them. It was mainly after De Rossi was spotted without her wedding ring for a lunch date in Los Angeles.
This led to rumours that may there is something wrong in their perfect marriage. According to Australia's Yahoo! Be Entertainment, a source revealed, "[Portia De Rossi] was spotted looking strained and upset at lunch with friends, and her wedding ring was noticeably absent."
They are nearing their nine-year wedding anniversary but the report suggests that Ellen Degeneres and Portia De Rossi are fighting more frequently, OK! Magazine mentioned.
A source told the magazine that the fight between the two started after De Rossi allegedly was left "sitting at home…waiting for Ellen to spend time with her."
Moreover, the couple's properties are listed for sale which includes their $58 million Santa Barbara mansion and $7 million Beverly Hills condo.
An insider told the publication, "[Ellen Degeneres and Portia de Rossi are] not only headed for a divorce, but they're also secretly splitting up their assets before they make an official announcement."
The couple started dating in 2004 and tied the knot in August 2008 at their Beverly Hills' home. Portia de Rossi even changed her name to Portia Lee James Degeneres, two years later.
Radar Online mentioned that the break up is possibly due to a love triangle and their strong relationship is shaken by Drew Barrymore.
According to inquisitr, a source stated, "Portia is threatened by Ellen's relationship with Drew. Further mentioned, "Their emotional bond is obvious, and Portia is feeling completely left out."
Moreover, the newly divorced Drew Barrymore recently said, "Do I like women sexually? Yes, I do. Totally."
Possibly, hinting her bisexuality, she stated, "I think a woman and a woman together are beautiful, just as a man and a woman together are beautiful."
